YOUR CHANCE TO PUT-UP OR SHUT-UP. COMPLETE THE COUNTY SURVEY BY JULY 8. - posted 6/22/05 by Tony Diffenbaugh

A survey allowing public input regarding future planning for the county is available on the county website under News and Information, titled 2005 Public Services Survey. This is a great opportunity for our members to influence the future of the KCFD and other county services. I believe a serious campaign by the union needs to be started to encourage our members, friends and family to complete the survey and let the county leaders know that we need more stations and firefighters.

911 Race for Youth

Saturday, May 7, 2005 - 7:00 p.m. - Mesa Marin Raceway
Ten of your finest drivers race to see who is the best. Twenty five laps of racing action in the 911 Race for Youth series. The winner of our race goes on to race the best from each department in a season ending Champions race in October. So come out and support your brothers from the Local 1301. We would also like to give a special thanks to the Union for their support, without them this would have been impossible.
